Rock of Life Church started in 1964 as a very small local church as a result of an outreach of what later became KwaSizabantu Mission. The congregation grew steadily and in 2000 became an independent church.  It has since founded numerous branches throughout Msinga as well as further afield in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga provinces.
