We ask for your continued prayer for our sick brethren. 

MamBhele has cancer which has now spread into both lungs. She is looking forward to being with the Lord, but the pain is hard to bear.

MakaDumisani is in heart failure and has now been found to also have cancer. She is also eager to be with the Lord. 

Baba Majola is still in hospital with MDR TB, leaving his 5 children at home without any support.
Please pray that God will be very near and very real to His suffering children in these difficult times.

This past Monday a tent was pitched in a rural area north of Pietermaritzburg called Mpophomeni. Services started Monday evening. Pastor Mabaso has been ministering this week. Pastor Qwabe will lead the evening meetings for the next week. Goodness Zuma leads the ministry to children and young people in the afternoons. Pastor Robert Ngobese from our Pietermaritzburg branch will disciple new converts both during the campaign and after the tent has moved on. Please pray for these brothers and sisters and their supporting team.

Pray especially for those who will come to the Lord during this campaign.  Pray that God will confirm the first steps of repentance and faith and make them grow in grace and truth.

At our tent campaign outside Pietermaritzburg God also worked in His own way.
30 people repented and committed themselves to the Lord.  One man came last Sunday and brought a heap of things he bought on the black market – probably stolen goods. He asked to burn these publicly after the final service as a testimony of his new life.

Thank you for your prayers. Please thank God with us and pray for Pastor Robert Ngobese who will continue to disciple these new believers.

Pray for our church and its ministries: that God will use us to build His kingdom.

Pray for our children who completed their schooling at Lobethal School and are now studying at different universities and colleges: that they will walk faithfully in the ways of God and grow in their faith.

Pray for the widows in our church and community that God will enable them to feed, clothe and educate their children and teach them the way that they should go.

Pray for protection from road accidents, hi-jackings and attacks by evil people. 

Pray that God will protect and bless our marriages. We see the enemy is bent on destroying and damaging marriages.

Pray that God will give peace in the families of believers where there is strife and unhappiness.

Pray for the Zuma family with 5 children at Lobethal school.  The mother is a believer. Both parents are unemployed and the mother fails to find enough ways to provide in all the needs of the family.

Khayelisha Care Project has finally received half of the Global Fund grant expected since January 2008. Building projects originally scheduled for 3 years now have to be completed by year end.

Please pray for wisdom in many decisions that need to be made and that God will prosper the building work that needs to be done, for His Name’s sake.

At Khayelisha we are starting up the buildings we need to complete with Global Fund money by year end. Please pray for God’s blessing on these buildings, that many children may feel God’s love in their lives through the ministry from these.

Soon we shall also start building the Damascus Day Care centre at Bhubesini, which will also be used as a meeting house for the Bhubesini branch. Our hearts are very happy in this expectation.

Please pray with us for the staff who will faithfully minister God’s love to these children.

Pray for Elzeth, who needs to complete financial planning for the Orphan Care work for the next 5 years in order to submit funding applications during May, June & July.

Pray for God’s clear guidance and wisdom in the planning and preparation work.

Pray that God will protect us from alliances with donors and funders whom He has not chosen to be a part of His work, and to open the doors to those whom He has chosen.
